Setting a new standard for workers' ethics and sustainable efforts, Planet Gucci is a retrofuturism collection that challenges harmful practices as it sets foot into the galactic fashion industry by analyzing the physical, digital, and ethical creation of its garments.
ABOUT
Planet Gucci is a collection awarded by the 2024 Fashion Scholarship Fund, Neiman Marcus Group, and Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholar Foundation. Built upon 2025 consumer sentiments, the collection explores space travel, futurist fashion pioneers, and past Gucci shows. In forging a retro-futurist style, the collection is inspired by 50s & 60s fashion and Gucci's "Gucci and Beyond" campaign. In addition, the Virgin Galactic Spaceship will launch more people outside of astronauts into space, revolutionizing the space traveling industry. By combining worker's rights with a sustainable future, Planet Gucci is able to meticulate a time that would allow for scale while catering to a new world that is sustainable, ethical, and innovative.
THE COLLECTION
