In creating Planet                    Gucci, Lauryn did research

for the trends of 2024 &          2025 pertaining to the          fashion industry,              consumer sentiments,            space travel, futurist            fashion pioneers, and              past Gucci shows.                        In forging a retro-                    futurist style, Lauryn                turned to the 50s                    and 60s for inspiration, since Gucci's "Gucci and Beyond" campaign was inspired by star trek. In addition to this research, Lauryn learned about the Virgin Galactic Spaceship which will launch the space tourism      industry in 2024. By          combining her love for

worker's rights with a        sustainable future, she was     able to meticulate a theme that would allow for Gucci to lead its consumers to a more sustainable world while catering to its workers and expanding on current digital projects.

To symbolize worker's rights, Lauryn reimagined Alessandro Michelle's worker bee into the future of the worker bee. She did this by drawing and coloring the bee by hand and illustrator The symbol is used in textile prints, embellishments, and are seen crawling throught the project, moodboards, and stamped on tickets to signify the workeres taking back their future.
