The Collection explores the eclectic style of Gucci consumers while using Planet Gucci textile developments to create interesting colorways. Planet Gucci has luggage for space-helmets, specially designed wheels with worker bee enamels, and bags where the top-layer of leather was meticulously cut out with a laser to create the nebula cutouts.
Before Astraa Angelini takes fashion consumers on a tour of the Milky Way's fashion industry to show a more sustainable future for workers rights, participants must check in through the Savoy Space Station. Here, Gucci consumers will check in their Planet Gucci themed luggage and handbags so that they can bring their items with them beyond the stars.
The Planet Gucci Handbags & Luggage Collection is an expansion on the 2024 Planet Gucci Fashion Scholarship Fund Project. In keeping with the theme of workers rights through Michele's reimagined worker bee and nebula symbology, Planet Gucci explores the Savoy Hotel, the birthplace of Gucci, and the creation of bags with revolutionary craftsmanship.
